Dystonia

Dystonia is a movement disorder that can be difficult to diagnose because it has symptoms that are similar to Parkinson’s disease, Tourette’s syndrome and essential tremor. It is characterized by abnormal posturing and muscle movements. Along with physical therapy, symptoms of Dystonia have a wide range of treatments available. Medications such as muscle relaxants and botox injections can be prescribed.
